IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING ROWTEST LTD

Unfortunately, we have been unable to obtain further supplies of some of the parts required to manufacture our main product the TDR200 Rotor RSO Reflectometer and we can no longer supply this equipment

As this has been our main product, we have reluctantly decided to close Rowtest Ltd. for further business.

We shall continue to offer technical support to existing users of this equipment via an associate company and will maintain this website for the forseeable future, so if you require technical support please contact us at enquiries@rowtest.com.

ROTOR WINDING TESTING MADE EASY

We specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of Test Equipment for detecting and locating faults in the field windings of large cylindrical turbo-alternator rotors.

Our 2 main products are the TDR200 Rotor RSO Relectometer and the RFM 200 Rotor Magnetic Flux Probe Monitor. The RSO test is carried out on generators which are isolated and off-load, while the Flux Probe test is performed with the generator running and on-load.

The TDR200 Rotor Reflectometer

The TDR200 Rotor Reflectometer, uses the RSO (Recurrent Surge Oscilloscope) off-line test method to detect faults in power turbogenerator alternator rotor windings. It replaces our original TDR100 version, which displayed the test waveforms on an analogue or digital oscilloscope and was previously manufactured by our associate company, Convex Design Ltd.(CDL). For further details, please click here.

The RFM200 Rotor Flux Probe Monitor

The RFM200 Rotor Flux Probe Monitor detects winding faults by processing the output signal from a magnetic flux probe (search coil) located in the air gap between a rotor and its stator. It is an on-line test method which is used with the generator in its normal operating mode. For further details, please click here.
